"It’s All
About the
Kids"
Minutes from the August 25, 2011 PTO
Meeting
Minutes from the September 14, 2011 PTO
Meeting
The
2011/2012 school year brings about
a lot of change for the MES-PTO. This year we have an entirely new
board that
is excited to continue the great traditions of the MES-PTO and create
new opportunities
for the PTO to serve the school and students. Please join us at our
monthly
meetings or feel free to contact any board member with ideas,
questions, or
suggestions because “it’s all about the kids”!
What is
PTO?
The
purpose of this organization is to provide ongoing communication and
meaningful
involvement between parents, administrators, faculty, staff, and
students in
the operation of the school and in its interaction with the community.
What
does
PTO do?
The
MES-PTO is responsible for fun events like the welcome back ice cream
social,
movie nights, the walk-a-thon, spring sock hop, reading counts awards,
the book
fair, and much more.
What
can
I do?
Attending
a PTO meeting is a great opportunity to find out what is going on and
where you
can help. We are always looking for volunteers, both on and off campus,
to
positively impact the learning experience of all students at MES. If
you can’t
make a meeting, contact our Volunteer Coordinator or any of the board
members
to find out more.
