7-8th GRADE TRACK will be starting on April 9th (Monday after Spring Break). Practices are Monday-Thursdays after school from 3:00 until 5:00. Students who are interested in track must have a current physical on file, and students will not be able to practice until the physical is turned into the office. The track season will continue from April 9th to May 16th. Meets are scheduled for April 26, May 3, May 10, and the championships on May 16th. Athletes must complete 10 practices before they can compete in a track meet. There are 4 levels (8th girls, 8th boys, 7th girls, and 7th boys). Athletes must qualify for events to be able to compete in the upcomming meets. Athletes may only have  1 D, 1-N (no F's or U's) to be able to compete in the track meets. Athletes must also be at 2 of the 3 practices each week to be able to compete in the track meet for that week. There are no practices on Fridays. There is no late busses on the practice days. Transportation will be provided to the track meets. There is no cost to participate. There will be an informational meeting third week in March, to answer any questions. Important: Athletes can only be released to a parent at an away game.
